Using Anagram for Gmail/iGoogle

Anagram for Gmail/iGoogle instantly creates new Gmail Contacts and Google Calendar Events right from your Gmail or iGoogle home page!

First, make sure you've added Anagram to your Gmail or iGoogle home page.

Highlight and Copy

To use Anagram, simply highlight text representing an appointment or contact in any open window on your screen, such as an e-mail message or document, and copy it to the clipboard (press control-c).

Paste Into Anagram

Next, paste the copied text into Anagram on your Gmail or iGoogle home page (press control-v) and press Go!

Review

Anagram will then analyze the copied text instantly, decide whether it is a Contact or Event, and open a new Review window.

Click "Save to Gmail Contacts" and the new contact will instantly be saved into your Gmail Contact List.

Events are handled the same way and saved in your Google Calendar instantly.
