FAQs: The Basics About Anagram

Note: If you're looking for support with Anagram problems, please see our Support Page.

Anagram puts you in control of your desktop information. With Anagram, you can reduce keystrokes, eliminate re-typing errors, and act on emails, web sites and documents faster than ever before.

Without re-typing, Anagram instantly creates new contacts in your contact list from any text on your screen, including email signatures, web directories, and search results. Anagram also adds appointments to your calendar from online scheduling and emails you've received.

What kind of information can Anagram capture?
Check out our examples page and demo video for examples.

How does it work?
Anagram uses intelligent text technology to evaluate the nature of the text that you capture to decide whether it belongs as a contact/address, calendar entry, task/to-do item or note/memo. Using cues found in the text, Anagram can tell where the information should go. If Anagram makes a mistake, you always have the option to change the final desination of your selected data.

How much does it cost?
You can download a FREE 45-day trial of Anagram or go ahead and purchase Anagram now. Pricing varies by the version chosen and is shown on the purchase page, including volume pricing.

What programs does Anagram work with?
Anagram is currently available for: iGoogle (Gmail and Google Calendar), Salesforce.com, Microsoft Outlook, Netsuite, Palm Desktop, and Jigsaw.

What operating systems is Anagram compatible with?
Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, ME, XP, and Vista

Why isn't there a Mac version?
Our overworked developers are kept in cages at night and fed gruel. Morale is low and we're having trouble convincing them to take on the project.
