It took much longer than expected but I think we have a very solid work-around for the missing linebreaks issue mentioned in the last post.
Basically we created an html parser to decode the html email, search for the captured text, and put the linebreaks back in! You would not believe the amount of fiddling and optimization that was required to get this to work.

You might want to somehow to send out the same Obama test to see if the problem has been corrected. For the life of me I don’t have anything to test out the new release with and testing with the exact same example that failed the first time would be a great and definitive test. Just a thought. Also, if you guys are looking for a new software idea for Blackberry’s that no one has done yet, let me know…
